Dr. Tandi Hobbs

Dr. Hobbs joined our practice in 2012 after gaining valuable experience in the UK, where she worked for eight years following her medical degree in South Africa. During her time in the UK, Dr. Tandi worked at an oncology hospital, focusing on cancer patients, pain management, and palliative care before embarking on her General Practice training.

Since moving to Australia, Dr. Tandi has developed a special interest in skin cancer and women’s health. She completed postgraduate qualifications in Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery at the University of Queensland, and a postgraduate certification in Women’s Health through King Edward Memorial Hospital. Additionally, she is deeply passionate about supporting her patients’ mental health.

Dr. Tandi works at a skin cancer clinic two days a week but offers full skin checks and related surgeries at Brighton Beach Medical Centre on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays. She consults fluently in both Afrikaans and English.
